This Korean-style cauliflower salad is unrivalled. You can prepare it every day and never get tired of it.
To prepare Korean cauliflower salad, you will need:
- Cauliflower 1 head
- Cucumbers 2
- Tomatoes 2
- Bell peppers 2
- Green onions, one bunch
- Dill and cilantro
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Vegetable oil 50 ml
- Ground cilantro 0.5 teaspoon
- Paprika 1 teaspoon
- Ground chilli pepper
- Black pepper
- Soy sauce, one tablespoon
- Vinegar to taste
How to prepare cauliflower salad with Korean-style soy sauce at home, step by step, with photos.
Wash the cauliflower and pour boiling water over it.
Place on the heat and simmer for 5–8 minutes.
You can check if it is ready with a fork. If it is cooked, remove it from the water and let it cool.
Cut two cucumbers into circles.
Cut two tomatoes into slices.
Chop 2 bell peppers. You can use red ones.
Chop one bunch of green onions, one bunch of cilantro, and dill.
Cut out the middle of the cabbage.
Cut the cabbage into small pieces.
Add tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers to the cabbage. Squeeze two cloves of garlic into the mixture—season with salt to taste. I added two teaspoons of salt.
Now add the following to a separate bowl:
- Cilantro 0.5 tsp
- Paprika 1 tsp
- Ground chilli pepper
- Black pepper
Pour 50 ml of hot oil over everything.
Pour all this into our salad, add chopped onion, dill, and cilantro, and mix well.
Add one tablespoon of soy sauce. Add 0.5 teaspoon of vinegar if desired. Stir again.
