French start-up AEMotion is preparing to launch production of an unusual vehicle that combines the advantages of a motorcycle and a car. After a decade of research and development, the company has opened pre-orders for its electric vehicle with tilting suspension.
The main feature of the new vehicle is its body tilt system, which allows it to lean up to 35 degrees when cornering, a feature borrowed from motorcycles. At the same time, the hybrid is only 79 cm wide, allowing it to manoeuvre confidently in urban conditions. The maximum speed of the new model is 115 km/h, and the electric motor is powered by a non-removable battery that provides a range of 200 kilometres. Additional replaceable batteries increase the range by 70 km each.

Despite its compact size, the designers paid special attention to passenger safety, providing four-point seat belts, bumpers made of energy-absorbing EPP material, and hydraulic disc brakes. The interior of the vehicle is also made of EPP material, which provides shock absorption comparable to airbags. The vehicle is classified as a car and requires a category B driving licence and appropriate training.
The manufacturer offers the model on a long-term lease for around €200 per month. The first deliveries are scheduled for the end of 2026, with mass production set to begin after 2028. No information is available yet on whether the vehicle will be available outside France.
