A delicious and aromatic chicken dish for lunch or dinner. Instead of drumsticks, you can use other parts of the chicken or a whole carcass. The chicken is simply finger-licking good! Serve with a side dish of your choice, such as potatoes, rice, pasta, or simply a vegetable salad.

Chicken in a fragrant tomato sauce
Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Number of servings: 5-6.
Ingredients
- Chicken drumsticks — 1 kg
- Ground black pepper — 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt — 0.5 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil — 2 tablespoons

Tomato paste — 7 tablespoonsWater — 400 mlOnions — 2Dried garlic — 1 teaspoonSuneli hops — 1 tablespoonDried herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro) — 1 tablespoonSalt — 1 teaspoonSugar — 1 teaspoonVegetable oil — 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Rinse the chicken legs with water and dry with paper towels. Grease a baking dish with one tablespoon of vegetable oil. Place the chicken legs in the dish, sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper, drizzle with oil, and leave for half an hour.

Then place the pan in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20 minutes.

Peel and chop the onion. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion, and fry until golden brown.
